SW Biofuels’ mission is to take a positive and proactive approach to the implementation of practical ways to aid the local economy and reduce harmful emissions through the production of a premium renewable Biodiesel fuel.
Based two miles north of Gillingham in Dorset, SW Biofuels formed in 2005. The directors, Brian Thomas and Tim Henderson, along with Robert May, are an amalgamation of agronomists with over sixty years of experience in the agricultural industry. They felt increased frustration as they witnessed farmers struggling to survive in what used to be considered, and still should be, a primary industry.
Foreseeing an uncertain future for the farming industry they searched for an innovative diversification that would benefit not only the individual farmer, but the consumer, the country and ultimately, the planet. After considerable research, that solution proved to be Biodiesel.
Thousands of pounds were invested by SWBF in essential technology, training and development to produce a premium Biodiesel - BioAdvance - a product that meets European Biodiesel quality standard EN14214.
Prior to making this alternative fuel available to the consumer, the SWBF team operated their vehicles using BioAdvance at a blend concentration of 100% (B100) for one year to prove reliability. We therefore have every confidence in recommending the use of BioAdvance at any blend concentration. Refer to Case studies.
